spain is a pretty good league, the teams just arent very consistent it seems (possibly due to the high turnover of managers in la liga), for example Valencia was pushing Barca and Real Madrid for the top 2 spots one season the next (with very little change player wise but gone through 2-3 managers) they narrowly avoid relegation and yet win the spanish cup and then this season they are 2nd ahead of real madrid and yet miles behind Barca!
