People still do this in EQ with low level spells that sound similar to their higher level equivalents (for example) and that game is 5+ years old. If there is a way of making money out of fools then people will try it, especially as it costs you nothing to have all of that stuff just sitting there.

When you find overpriced stuff in a list it's also just possible that whilst individually pricing 10's of identical items, they moved the mouse a few millimetres to the left and hit plat.

Defaulting the current price to the last price you put on would really help a lot of people.

Just in case I make a mistake sometime !

Though I was accused of trying to rip someone off yesterday, as he said he could get higher quality armour from a merchant for far less than I'd charged him for his.

I pointed out that he should therefore sell the armour I'd made him to a CM, and buy the cheaper stuff. After all, the "stuff he could get on a CM" for 10g was worth 28g in sellback to a merchant!

Sometimes you wish you'd not dropped everything to make armour for someone.

Oh, and he checked on the market explorer before asking me to go ahead and make it, and complained before he had time to get to a merchant !

Random, noob customers suck, all crafters think so, noone admits it in public :p

We have all had that lvl 14 tank who gets upset when he finds out that his 2h hammer 99% qual costs more than the 85% from an NPC, omg, who would have thought?! :twak:
