This, in turn, can be taken as proof that it is those with an indigenous background who are under-represented among the well-off.

Again, it follows that what the council is saying is, in order to redress the balance, it needs to utilise more unskilled effort from minority groups.

my 32 inch widescreen tv, 360, ps2 with two GH controllers, a wii with 4 remotes, a Divx encoded dvd player, 5.1 surround sound and most importantly, chairs.

I don't really see a problem with it. I wasn't a spoiled kid, and when i got my second hand TV and Sega as christmas pressies years and years ago. It really changed my life for the better. I didn't get any less exercise or become any less social. I think it's fine, as long as parents don't rely on the TV and console to raise their kid.

I agree with what blackjack says. As long as they still go out to see their friends and get some exercise then it's fine, when I was growing up I loved hanging out with my friends in my bedroom with the old sega and N64 with a new game, and then going out on our bikes.

If they become obsessive and dont go out etc and start acting up, then if and when I have children it would be removed. My housemates call me a geek because I occasionally play a online free game when i'm bored, they're not doing anything interesting or if I want to be alone, but a lot of it is just ignorance, whats the difference to playing PES downstairs or watching tv (in this case football) which i loathe to me playing a game to pass an hour, none.
