Login server not found...

Just installed SI on new PC -

Athlon XP2400+
512mb
GForce 4 MX440
Windoze ME

When i try to connect to login server, it continuously tells me it is not found, i checked login.dat and update.dat and it is definatly the EU ones. Not my route to host as other PC can still connect.

Any ideas anyone?

oh and scrap the ME, even win98 1st edition works better

nerf win 9x totally delete and throw in the bin even NT 4 is better than any 9x operating system

fixed it now, just put DAoC installation off old PC on cdr and put it on new 1 installin 98SE l8r - ME Sux :/

When i had win98 it crashed almost every hour on the hour, so i got ME update cd, and my old computer runs very smooth, just crash once or twice every month now.

when i had 2k my pc ran for 3 months with out crashing, it was turned on for that long, then i had to goto a lan

ohh and NT only supports DX 3.0.a... so i wouldnt suggest you use this

got '98SE on this box now, put other modem on it and everythin fine, apparently the modem i have is a NetoDragon one and crashes out when the system is doin anythin complicated with the drivers that come with it :/ ne1 got better drivers for it by any chance?

Win2k with sp3 is by far the most stablest os ive ever used and will continue to use.
