Log File

hi all.

I am wondering, if there is a LOG file to be got from barrys bookable. I currently use it, and i have this stats program, all i need is the log file from barryservers..If they have it or can tell me how to get it.

It would be a great assett to the server to have. As it brings more interest.

I currently use my own log file from sof2.. but i really want to log my bookable server..

I have had a few friends ask me about it.

Any idea's?

Due to the lack of FTP access facilities retrieving logs from the server is not possible... however there are some utilties that will spam a channel in IRC with stats about the server.

Perhaps you could adapt one of these?

The IRC thing is simply a reporter bot that spams what happens on the server in real time. Take a look-see here

Unfortunately as far as i know, we cannot provide logs..

perhaps a server admin might clarify the situation....?

yeah the irc bot works verywell, but it's not a solution for my problem...

I need stats, and i need this f****** log file...

My players change team because they haven't their stats, in one month i'm alone in my clan

I'm sure its possible to make something, maybe barryserver could send me this file every weeks or twice weeks, or make a ftp acces just for the log file, lot of people ask for them.

I'm very sorry, but if i really can't have this log file, i will have to stop the server because i will be alone to pay.

I hope we'll find a solution, i'm happy about barryserver pruducts.

i think your best bet would be to join #bwadmins or #GAME.net and ask in there
