First the Captain Obvious bit: If he didn't do it, he shouldn't be there.

If he did it, he should rot until he dies, whenever that is. The people who died didn't get any kind of compassion, I see no reason to let him out in such circumstances.

As said above, 2 different issues.

I haven't been through enough of the evidence to make any kind of informed comment on whether he should have been jailed or not. I suspect I'm not the only one here
