I think when you guys were going for the RK I was debating this in the CG - it didn't feel right. Spotted some scout teams as well in general checking things out.

Was fun last night too. We knew a bunch of Albs had logged in the frontier and there was nothing we could do. I think Durgi had been tracking them when some logged. We moved to cut off reinforcements after that and sure enough, there were various teams trying to come through until the relog crew came out of slumber. You got the rams mounted on Mjol so not bad, but we had people watching the whole time and it was just a case of how fast could we get to you.

In general, the Hib relic attempts have been more effective so far. Early days, and we fully expect to have relics changing hands at some point.

However, I have to say... its shitloads of fun and if one side having all the relics causes this level of activity I'd definately want to do it again. As someone in the Defence CG said last night, its like kicking a hornets nest. There have been some fantastic small, medium and large scale fights this last 24 hours.

At the time that i posted this thread Roo, i was aware of the situation in not too dark a light. 1) Knew where the relics were 2) Where the majority of the Albion forces were.
3) I was actually there unlike some ppl who werent, but critise anyway.

As far as i can see taking a swipe at my own realm, well albion is in quite a dire state. Can you remeber the last time we pulled off a prime time raid? No didnt think so.

Another guild left unity, well thats another faction to take into consideration.

And teh only ppl who i was calling for a reason argument was the ppl that try and make personal insulting post or other stupid ignorant comments.

Kreig, the area around the RK was a lagfest. It was a huge fight going on. Many Mids as well as Albs had no idea the relic had gone neutral in the spam. It may have been rp greed in some cases but for many I'd imagine it was just a battle that had to be won. Labelling all like that is unfair.

I was there. (Ok, I was meant to be in Odins, but thats another story of a bumbling old caster and his friends )

Secondly, ranting at your realm buddies to give chase serves no purpose: how many of your people actually had groups with the speed to actually catch them?

You have also ranted at your people for a fast Odins run which is not really viable: its unlikely in the extreme that a realm will get back a relic when it leaves their own frontier. You'd need an entire force with Speed 5 ready to roll immediately or have had teams moving to Uppland long before that. Somewhat unrealistic.

That night and in the days that followed, there were consecutive raids by both Alb and Hib, which requires organisation and for all you want to paint Alb in a bad light here there was some very good play, some nice planning apparent and a lot of determination.

All realms could do things a bit better at times. All realms have people who want to do their own thing and all realms make almighty cockups at times. All part of the rich virutal tapestry.
All of us have felt like screaming at times because of things that happen. Flaming your team on forums has the exact opposite effect from getting them into a unified working whole.

Threads like these don't help your realm and don't help the people that are trying to make things work. They're just popcorn threads for the forum trolls.

Yes, you're the enemy and must die horribly etc etc but its just a game, and a better game with worthwile opponents and I saw lots of worthwhile efforts over the last days.

This thread, by its topic and content, is nothing but divisive.
Fine, make it easier for Mids and Hibs if you want by widening any rifts.

Perhaps but alot of albs never even got that far, fighting skirmish's down the road on sauvage. Engaging your decoy's as opposed to bypasing the fighting through the woods. Although more albs would have been more of a lag feast.

Ok this like you say is highly unlikly, although i seem to remeber mids failing relic raids before, because of LD skalds, and i think there was a time when the relic carrier ran into agro in pennies and died as well.

Maybe vain desperation, but it was more pro active then engaging the mids in a fight they choose the terms and conditions of...

I think every one knew these were going to happen, it was just more to the point of when and how, i mean the following days odins was swarming with mids. If any leader thinks that they can pull off an attack of a defended frontier... Get real. And yes we got a relic back... Another albion successful alarm clock raid, albion does them very well.

Ok perhaps this thread didnt really come out as intented, but hey at teh time i post it i was quite angry and the blind stupidity, and tactfulness wasnt in my book of skills whilst posting the orignal statement. In that sense it was a mistake, but it still doesnt change things, albions been down the pan for a long time. If ppl cant wake up and smell the coffee whats the point.

And with regards to albions many factions, Rigante left unity 2 or 3 days ago, not sure when or why but I hardly think that its because of a thread like this.

Face it, as far as organisation goes, albion has had its day (for now) and seems mid is at the steering wheel. I mean when you look at general RvR before even mentioning RR's, you can clearly see that Mid has 4 or 5 guilds that are highly co-ordinated active in RvR with 1 or more grps. Yes it might be fotm savage/healer trains, but it shows you the actual state of play + mentality of the realm.

Highly motivated and Highly co-ordinated.

As far as albion goes we have nothing like that in comparison with exception of PE and FL and they dont normally go out with more than 1fg. Oh and if you wanna include Avalanche in that but then there just fotm Excal jockeys anyhow, and no doubt the same fate that NP had will happen to them as well.

Before ppl start saying oh mids are the under dog's on X Y and Z
servers, yes that might be the case. But at the end of the day its not the classes that make the game its the ppl behind them and the Co-operation of the ppl in the realm/guilds.

Savages maybe over powered but if the groups arent set up right they can be beaten, like anything. No class or player is Invinceble.

Did you know that Prydwen + Excal are the 2 most active servers for RvR in the world? USA has too many servers with too small populations. So is it any wonder really? When organised grps get high rr in very short spaces of time. Let alone having the top INF in the world currently active.
