watching the match vs marseille now and noticed something


no sponsor on the liverpool kit? since when?

i seem to recall seeing carlsberg on there since... forever?

Something to do with the Sponship of Alcohol in France or summit, it happens a lot when British teams play abroad, ie the Toon a few season back when we were sponserd by Newcastle Breweries.

why dont they do what the ppl in Formula 1 do change the name slightly?

e.g. Benson and Hedges becomes bitten and hisses etc

i also remember the marlboro logo being replaced with the same red |/\| shape over the marlboro but instead of the letters they used solid black blocks

McLarens way was kinda cool, they had the name of the drivers. So it was mika and dave but in the 'west' font. They make fags apparently. :s
