one more reason for "casual players" to just zerg instead of make a decent group.. sigh

its gonna be pretty stupid now.
druid/cleric/shaman assists ma' so str/con debuff and single base con debuff
throw in a normal str/con debuff
then the target gets 1shotted.
fun :(

nothing to stop the other group from debuffing the train
and nothing to stop the other group from interupting the debuffer
I personally look forward to it
now if I can just get through toa.................................................

At least it gives clerics another tool to use, and another reason to have active enhance spec clerics.

iirc friars aint effected by buff shearing cos its self buffs?

if so maybe friars will become more wanted in grps once the true power of buff searing etc is seen :)

most ridiculous shit ever....all buffers will have to rebuff in the middle of combat and the shell will nerf tank groups into the ground. Then the next question: Which spot will the nurture druid take. he won't for sure replace one of the other 2 ones (nat and nurt) because they're needed for the healing, so I guess either a Warden or a dmg dealer will be kicked out. If Wardens get kicked out, this will mean a hard time in RvR.

Many ppl already said that mid benefits most of the changes and alb is getting out worst, I think this is true, even when shammys loose their insta dis, will still be ok for them but albs who need so many classes in a grp already will find it hard to get another cleric in (and forget it, friars won't be sudden healing fotm in an alb group).

But hey, DAoC is lieing under the guillotine atm, Mythic just pulling the trigger =)

shrug, mythic makes fuckup after fuckup after fuckup, just wait and see what happens

if you can play with your char/friends and actually enjoy the game you stay, if not you just quit.. there's no alternatives yet but hey.. :/ quitting daoc aint a bad thing :p

mids losing pbae dis is VERY good :p
this now means a hib group will need 3 druids, warden, bard+ three damage makers probably ;p
cant see how this benefits zerg warfare

to get similar healing output to that group, alb group would need 2 rej/enh clerics, 1 enh cleric (and still be behind), then as well as needing sorc, mincer, pally.....this is getting dire :/

Alb caster groups seem to be way forward. 2 rej/enh clerics, 1enh cleric, sorc, mincer, 3 casters perhaps?

why kirennia ? both grps have 3 spreadhealers. spreadhealing is all that counts in rvr... warden in most hard fights cant heal. bard has to interrupt.

my main point being bud that hibs/mids can to a degree afford to drop one damage dealer whereas an alb properly setup group can't. Basic setups atm

mincer/sorc/pally/2xcleric/3x mercs

2xdruid/bard/warden and 4 dmg dealers? could be wrong there :p

3xhealer/shammy/skald/3x tanks for mid.

In comparison of groups at the moment, the albion FOTM group gets 2 strong healers and 3 main dmg dealers as well as 2 interupters and 1 guard.

Compared to a hib fg which could nicely get 2 strong healers, 4 main dmg dealers and the interupt capabilities with the number of pets are silly :) Confuse should work on most pets imo :D

Then the mid group with 2 strong healers again and 1 secondary healer, 3 main dmg dealers same as alb but the interupt abilities again are much better.

Though tbh I've gone off the topic there. As for future groups, I cannot see alb doing without any of those classes described above unless they drop another dmg dealer and a 2 man assist train aint gonna drop anything :/ Then again, I guess thats mythics aim to force longer battles. The hib setup could drop 1 dmg dealer and add a warden yet still have 3 dmg dealers and a lot of heal classes there.
The mid group I'm not too sure about as they are sort of in the same boat as alb except with many many more interupters there.

Then again, most of my babble will be kinda usless when buff shearing comes in when they fix interupts as well :) Fingers crossed it'll mean interupts are less essential.

Summary : Will have to wait and see but not too optimistic about having to have 6 base classes in the group before you can start adding damage dealers :/

Ooh yeah forgot to add......who likes buffing anyways? :D Especially as they haven't got a good system for seeing whos buffs have been sheared if they have more then 8 buffs at the time, which is very easy as resists seem to come before the buffs on the group bar :(

hmm..true Nova...or get 2 dmg dealers and a guard...or well....do you need a guard with focus shell? But then again slam is just so nice and guard costs no mana.
1 reg/nat druid, 1 reg/nurt druid, 1 nurt/reg druid, warden, bard, eld, chanter/eld, hero ? Just replace the mages by bm's for a tank grp....could work I think: More defense, less offense. *shrug* We'll see, but in combat buffing will still be plain crap.

ok sorry, i meant 2 spread healers each.

and i rly dont mind SHammys going with 46 Aug, coz then they dont get this STR/CON shear:

48 Potency Sever Ground Target 3.0s/0s/0s Rng: 1500 Area: 150 0 16 power

there was a good idea somewhere about buff shearing....do not remove them, just suppress them for some time - 30 sec or minute. rebuffing after each combat is not funny.

nerf mythic.
