Writing off debts for third world countries will never happen. The "civilised" world maintains control over poorer nations by putting them in debt, and keeping them there with insane interest rates. In the same way they keep their own popultion in debt, with mortgages, "interest free" loans, credit cards...

Work your ass off to keep up with the bills and your mind remains subdued, unable to think freely.

This is going to seem a bit cold...but why the hell should we throw money in that direction, the UK had LOTS of problems (including Povity believe it or not) so Why should the British Government throw money towards these areas, As for world Dept, you know lots of this money was spent on Weapons to fight civil wars/Border fights...

Some of the African countries were abused badly by the west(enslavement, theft of resources etc) and they haven't recovered due to further interference. What's better than giving someone a loan? Make sure they spend the money on your weapons!

Put a country in debt, sell them weapons, do the same to their enemies and you're laughing!

The easy thing for them is to migrate into Europe and seek asylum, but others would rather rebuild their countries... Something made impossible by bureaucracy, corruption and debt.

It's easy for you to say "Fuck them, I was born in England and all is good here"
But Britain made it's wealth by exploiting other nations and now the money goes back one way or another(Asylum seekers and the UK loosing cities to 'multi cultural' societies).

The Spanish are already taking over the US cities, in a few generations you'll see similar happenings in the UK.
