Gah! Is this terminal bad news?

I'm reminded of Operation Flashpoint. :(

What software would work with BW's servers? :D

(Bearing in mind BW run NT :D)

I thought BW used Linux for the majority of their game servers. What do I know, though? It's been a long time since I broke in to leave a 'deposit' on the keyboards.

Most Game Service Providers (including BarrysWorld) operate a server farm environment. Cut short, the dedicated server version allows the server to number-crunch the game without it actually playing. It acts as the 'brain' of a multiplayer game but it doesn't actually display any graphics, sounds and so on. Linux dedicated server versions are not needed by you and me but are essential if a game is going to be supported by the likes of BarrysWorld.
