Linux 2.6.0

Released today apparently.

I'm going to get my linux boot sorted next year, when I get back to uni, before the workload gets big again.

I've read up on it a little, but has anyone used it? If so, what are your big "real world" bonuses? Any immediate disadvantages at all?
