My friend lives 50 meter from me, we have the same ISP, modem and router. He keeps going LD all the time. Its like a 10 min timer or something similar. Ive done some troubleshooting on his pc and router, with no luck what so ever. I know the problem can be at the OT routers but considering we're on the same ISP i doubt its that. Atleast untill i ruled out everything else :p

What is the ip to their servers?

Any suggestions are more than welcome.

may sound daft but are you running a firewall on the router as well as your mates pc..

I found that i would drop out on wirelss every 10, so dumped my firewall on my pc and increased the security on the router and hey presto...no lag or drop out...

hope this helps:england:

Go to device manager, Find your modem / Card ... Right click - properties - Advanced..If checksum is enabled disable it.. Dont panic if your connection dies it will reset.

If that doesnt work i got no idea ;e

The problem is that it doesnt say "Checksum" on his swedish OS. And tbh with you, i dont have a clue what it is in swedish. I could just pick one i guess...

No, its not a wlan router. And didnt help with him diabling his software firewall. Dont know what to do really. Would be nice to see the tracert log to their servers. Givf ip!

I don't have swedish OS inst my self but checksum is the same as "kontrollsumma".

To find it: proprties on networkcard -> configure -> advanced -> "and on my comp the first option"

But not sure if this is your problem since you usally only ld'ing when releasing or porting between keeps if this is turned on.
