i still say the lame scentances, i like to use these forms of exclamation irl instead of swearing which sometimes gets me a funny look:

Drat!!!
Crumbs!! (sometimes followed with a "chief!" if im feeling in a penfold mood)
flippin
blimmin
For- crying out loud, the love of god, petes sake
Holy- moley, mackrel, smokes, toledo, kentucky fried chicked, collenders, hell
and a fave "Good Grief.....charlie brown!"

ever think about the way most brits greet eachother?
"haya allright"
"allright"

its just lately started to strike me as odd because if you look at it there not really asking how eachother is its a greeting and theyre not even remotely interested in finding out if the other person actually is doing well.

other odd greetings from the uk include:
wotcha
oi oi
hay
howdo
and a gift from our american friends the ever popular "sup"

i love the way language evolves within a space of a few short years, wonder what we'll be saying in a decade?

I think sup is like "what's up" meaning 's'up? :p Which is not so strange. In my opinion :)
