Heh i have been in the actual toys'r'us superstore but they only had this 'Darthmaul' or something and thats not the one im after. I also want one which wont break after 30 secs

There was a webby that sold 'real' light sabres (as authentic as is possible, with some weird light optics shambles or something) for about £250, though I forget the URL anyway

Yeah seent hat Kez, I will pester someone for the url.

There were about 4 different designs, each coming in verious colours.

They were sold as "indestructable", cased in titanium or soemthing, looked very very cool.

Found this for you nerds but it doesn't have any glowing bits. Just a handle, really and still costs $1,500.

I could make one out of a used kitchon roll and some Humbrol paint.

Nah i dont think its merchandise that they 'couldn't sell'. You still see merchandise from the first 3 SW films in the shops. The Phantom menace stuff is just merchandise that they keep making for the odd person who may wish to buy it.

Or 'classic' merchandise if ya like.
