Light Enchanter ?

In a few well organised groups - me, vulc + fair have been known to nuke a tank and literally insta-kill them, no chance of IP- heal- no-nothing. 3 simultaneous nukes and wham-bam-thankyou-sam.

Obviously this happens few and far between and only if we have the /assist macros up .

3 600+ nukes will give anyone a bad day, its just the preparations beforehand and keeping the bloody stealthers off us that is the BIG challenge.

48,23,9 is gonna be my enchanter spec.

I still got good damage on baseline light spells and i get some attack speed debuffs AND i do get pb which is awsome damage.

If i would spec light only i would miss all nice debuffs and pb. So I go mana way to get a little of all
The variance on my light spells would be ok enough with 23 in light.

edit: and speed was in that specline earlier =)

So try to image what would happen if the Mana Chanter would cast the heat debuff and the light chanter his DDs .... most efficent way to use the mana.

Great in theory, though as spudgie says, very hard to do in practice.

The baseline nuke can't really at all compare with the 45 spec one though, so to really do serious damage as mana mage you have to stay in the middle of battle, and you will pretty sure go down fast as hell. Light is just so damn uber uber...and my idea of a mage is standing a bit back from the battle, or hiding a bit while nuking hard as hell from distance....though mana ownz PvE biiig time.

Well after debuff you're often getting a hefty + to dmg on heat... most mana chanters can hit for 500+ with every nuke, regardless of their target's resists. The only downside is power consumption.

hmm I would say that you have to put you're robe over the big bad enemies toes before you blast as a downside too

No Debuff, pure light, one crit, as of earlier today. Ide call that dmg pretty consistant

is that generally how much you hit for? I'd have thought that most enemies would have higher heat resists?

I'm thinking of respeccing my eld to light, can anyone tell me what the dmg difference between the lvl 50 mana spec DD/snare and the highest light spec DD?

Does Enchantments auto-train Vulcan? because i just checked catacombs and ur screenie spec isnt possable without auto-train
