Not read it, as I've been reading several of James Patterson's novels recently.

You're all uncultured fags.

Seems by the threads that go on here they should rename the forum to "Sci-Fi/Fantasy" books, as that's all people around here seem to read.

Kudos for actually replying tho Dave :]

:)

Patterson is a Crime novelist - he wrote the books that became the Morgan Freeman films "Kiss the Girls" & "Along came a Spider".

Still reading through 1984 at the same time though.

:D

PS: What the fock is Life of Pi actually about?

I've been tempted once or twice to buy it when I've been looking for a book...

It's a good read. It's a bit strange. To sum it up briefly, the indian boy in the story is moving to canada via ship when the boat sinks. He ends up in a boat with an orangang (sp), zebra, hyena and a tiger. Basicly the story is how they survived at sea for ages.

Just bought this while bored and on my own in edinburgh. Needed something to read while I was sitting in starbucks and I remembered this thread.

Not that far into it but I love it already.

I've considered buying this sounds really interesting but I've just lent 'The Magician' off a friend (sorry wazz) and need to read 1984 as well.
