Leveling at 27 and guilds?

Lo,

Myself and Krissy from Prydwen, Albion (level 50 cleric, and level 50 air theurg) have realm alts here on Hib Excal.

We've leveled to 27 mainly by pairing or solo but are finding its slowing now. Being from alb and having paired to 27 we have no real idea about grouping or leveling spots on on hib.

If anyone has any advise of how to get up from 27, where to level, where and how to find groups on hib excal, it'd be muchos appreciated :D

Finally i'm a 27 mana enchanter, and Krissy is a level 27 voidy eld. We plan to take both chars to 50 over the next couple of months. We maybe looking for a guild when we are slightly higher level - if anyone has any good suggestions? :)

I would suggest doing pookhas in basar (thats just over the bridge north of ardee) for a couple more levels, then move to Coruscating Mine and stay there for 10 levels or so ;) To get to CM, get horse from Ardee to East Lough Derg ..... after you pass curmudgeons camp, stay on horse till it is about to turn to the right on the bend with the water and JUMP. Dont go right with the coast line, but head straight on thru the woods in the direction the horse was going b4 it turned (zone wall to your left, thru moss sheries). Keep running quite a way and you will pass a small settlement where there will be siog seekers (iirc). CM is just to the back of this settlement on the hill (kind of directly up the hill behind the main building at the back of the settlement, just up the slope of the hill a bit where it levels out slightly).

/send Zenich in game if u need any other help

Hi :)

Legends of Camelot always welcome new members, we are not a huge guild but have characters in all level ranges and are based on principles of friendship and trust.

Take a look at the Legends of Camelot website or speak to myself or Greldar in game :)

god not the pookhas! if there's one single useless mob in hib, that's those, for some reason though everyone seems to camp them, only good if your a stealther really because of THAT cloak which never bloody drops for you but does for everyone else in the realm :)

at level 23ish hunt dampwood mites in lough gur, i stayed there soloing them until they were greeeeeen con at lvl 28, then moved onto setts in the frontier, then irewoods in mount collory, they're very nice, great cash too.

only possible problem you may find is the scenery, unlike albion (as i've recently found out, is rather more complete) hibernia is mostly all the same sort of thing, just duplicated across many different zones, until you get used to it you'll probably get lost and run into huge aggro spawns because of no landmarks :D

thankfully it's also a very friendly place, so someone will probably save you :)

Dunno about pookhas being useless, I levelled a couple of chars on them at that level, and got a nice Horse Mantle cloak from them for my BM :)

Although I am sure Irewoods or other baffing mobs are much better xp wise, its safer at pooks than in the frontier :D

Pookhas are cool for drops, hate em though for the amount of time spent there . Had at least 6 different cloaks , bows , rings , instruments , Archers bracer :p , Robes of regalia etc etc , dont know of any other mob that drops so much . Amadans I got the stealth cloak :) black and hooded , also got a very nice Hero bracer :)

Hate pookhas, they got a freakin annoying insta dex debuff. Solo/dua casters and rangers will find it not very good if the mob insta cast. That will interrupt you're shot or nuke. Allso less dex don't make it better :p

I have one good advice:

HUG

TREEEEEES!

TREEEEEES!

TREEEEEES!

and

TREEEEEES!

Yung irewoods west of ligen. It's allso Irewood saplings there. Irewoods in collory, greenbarks in gorge, grovewoods in collory.

PS! for u n00bs: blackthorns :D
