so whats the joke? Its been like that before, after expansions they dont have time to do other stuff . Cant belive you think VWs aint op after 1.84.

Strong? Well yes, in 1vs1 they will probably be strong 'out of the box'. However, 1vs1 there's 1 thing which has a major impact on the outcome: Artifact-uses. VW's are pretty strong if you discount those, but on a TOA-server you can't simply dismiss stuff like Battler /use2, Winged Helmet Style-reduction, Malice/Eirene /use2 and such.

VW's do not have access to any of the listed artifacts, which are a *MAJOR* part in the outcome of melee-duels. AFAIK there are only 2 melee-classes ingame who do not have access to Malice OR Battler: Vampiirs and Valewalkers. All the other classes can get atleast 1 of em, and most can get both. Most melee-classes can get Winged Helmet, except assassins, friars and... again Vampiirs and Valewalkers..

I do think Valewalkers can be strong in 1.84, but OP... well dunno, will see. The real problem with VW's isnt fixed in 1.84, instead they've been given the wrong upgrades, which might be OP (referring to the PBAE root without immunity on the frontal position) in some cases, but dont fix the real crutch with VW's.

well pup from the VWs i talked to, they all seem to think they are gonna be "imba" in 1.84, arti uses or not. Ofc the ppl i talk to is ppl that prefer to solo, becous thats what im doing.
Concerning artis, well you have to go zertain specs to get it. Ofc i can get battler on back as valk, but i want to change weapons, both 1h and 2h, hence its useless, and i cant get the Malice as valk, but yet i in no doubt that valks are still gonna rock.
But nothing to do than to wait till next week, and then the whine can determin whats most op

it would be nieve to think that there wouldn't be people who abuse the spying situation... it just makes it even easyer now...

tbh, i would have liked a full cluster, and not just a half arsed one...
