47+19 Blades(Can spec 46 if you want Backstab2 to have some utility against casters)

you are aware that a rr5 infi using your "assasin killer" spec can rip you apart spamming anytimers?
he also gets 1598 WS

dont think anything else is good in patch 1.87 if you wanna fight a variety of classes

Very true ... Thing is m8 where infils get 40 or so DW with that spec Poor shades only get 18

Its official ... 50 Celtic Duel 47 Blades is the Worst spec of all time ... with anytime squall hitting for only 200 with mainhand+offhand hits

Oh well ... there go my dreams of a viable meleeshade spec

Then when 4/5 spec purge3 , then its time to spec for damage/more hp/survivability

Also for those who spec purge2 to do more dps ra's at low rr ... you cant hit for shit when stunned/mezzed

I only got purge3 on me NS at rr6 :> i dont see the point on getting purge 3 earlier tbh. I wouldnt do it atleast. as lowbie u need more other things aug str dex tough. Also with the action nowdays when u get a fight each 15 min purge 2 is enough :worthy:

Nightshade specs

I played Caestar for around 5 years now and the most fun i ever had was when toa had just come out and i had respecced him to a spec that basically wtf pawned most classes including meleers.

i was rr7 and it was along the lines of 50cs,50pierce,33 stealth,13 CD and 11 Env or summit like that. i was hitting major perfs with the heat leggie when they were uber and doing extreme rippers and dragonspiders on peeps. Then the wryd spec came into play......

The spec i use on caestar at realm rank 10 these days is....

50 CS
30 Stealth
31 Blades
30 env
38 cd

STR4,MOP3,MOS2,PURGE3,TOUGHNESS4,CON2,LW1,AOM1

I am respeccing though to the following as purge/remedy every 5 mins...

50 + 20 CS
30 + 20 Stealth
50 + 20 Blades
18 + 20 Celtic Duel
11 + 20 Envenom

STR4,CON1,LW1,TOUGH4,AOM1,MOP3,MOS2,PURGE3,VANISH/VIPER1

Poisons appear low BUT... still manage 71 STR/CON debuff, 37 Per tick, 2nd best snare and a 120sec disease. Most fights i have with an inf i blow everything ability wise and re-use every 5 mins which most assassins do these days anyway so it works both ways. Hit point wise i have around 2650 on which is around 300 more than most infs/sb'd at rr6-8. This combined with mid-range poisons and excellent weaponskill hold me in good stead when it comes to fighting tanks which is what we have to do these days since rvr is so sparse.

A large part is due to my new template having no weaknesses and my almost OCD juggling of Celerity/SpecAF/50%Abs/OglidarshShield/Shadeform Charges ... not to mention end regen up perma

is it worth losing the 2 points in the toughness RA for 1 extra point in mop. ie , i would sacrifice 2 points in toughness to improove my mop to mop4. discuss please

Assasins are all about inflicting Huge damage fast ... Hits should be an after thought imo

When im rr10+ ill drop hp ra's maybe and spec str4 pain 5
