Nah it's ok if albs abuse bugs, only hibs are dirty cheaters if they do it.Spamb0t said:maybe bloodthorn should stop abusing the eirinies bug?
Well it is when he deliberately pulls blue mobs on himself to make it bug up, yes.Aussie said:oh ye its bloodthorns fault that hauberk is bugged
Brommix said:Thats not bug abuse,thats just cause the hauberk is overpowered atm, bug abuse is nuking through walls. Like if you fall into a wall and kill people from there and the old bug where people could run through gates etc. Its just a shame though cause it was actually a very fun fight at Dun Da Behn, but when people start to cheat using those bugs its really not fun for anyone in the long run cause im sure some albs at some point will do the same in keep defense, and that wont be ok either. But maybe i should just forward this to rightnow since you acknowledge you did exploit a bug ?? It would be much cooler if you could just fight fair, it wasnt like the rest of the hibs couldnt get killshots was it.

Since when is it bug abuse to trigger a proc by getting hit by mobs? Mobs are supposed to trigger armor reactives, no?Arnor said:<snip>

I could macro that statementArnor said:What i see a problem with is aussies argumentation.
err, storms can be moved regardless of loskarpathus said:How does ppl with storms place them inside towers then? Is that a bug abuse? Placing them through walls/doors?
- Karpathus NS++
PS: Yeah got a screenie of it if that becomes a problem.
It's not the storms that bother me, it's the Thornweed Fields that piss me off the most. They nasty!!

Harle said:about the hauberk:
iirc there was a bow in early release that had unlimited range. That bow was considered "bugged", was fixed in the next patch, and if you used it you were considered a bug-abuser and goa handed out several suspensions etc.
I can't see how this hauberk is any different from the bow back then, and I'm really surprised that there's no official word on this yet.
but hugging the wall and shoot thru it is ok since you can do it?Aussie said:oh ye its bloodthorns fault that hauberk is bugged
Wasnt it a hib bow?Skilgannon said:It's a bit of a different case though. The bugged bow was out of control uber in a world of 89% qual. The hauberk has nowhere near the same impact. Also, the hauberk is available to all Realms whereas the bow was Midgard only.
