Well, there's a simple explanation to this "effect". Subliminal forcing has been around for ages. You tell a person A, "you will fall when i touch you 'cause other have too" "I have power of god rly!" and the person believes in it. You build up hype and the brain sends a signal that "Mhm, yes, i should fall now."

In a nuthshell, this works 'cause people believe and people believe 'cause it works.
