As far as the Lyonesse thing is concerned ... it's not the players fault, or problem, that Mythic made Lyonesse an xp powerhouse. Can hardly blame people for wanting to level - it is what the game is about after all.

No, much more open to ridicule are people who make conscious choices ... like someone choosing to come to Albion and level the 1,300,101st infiltrator ... like we really needed another one

Actually, I started a Minstrel first. But then 3 good friends of mine came to Albion, and I had to start a new character. So I created Pwyiw, twin brother of Pwylw. So you gimp, he was created as an RP character. And yes, I got a lot of "flames" for being YET ANOTHER infiltrator in the Templars.

Nah, everyone gets the 50 blues. You get a rush when you finally make it, spend some time thinking "What now?" and then you realise the reason you play is for the great peeps you meet in game and thats what kept you there all the way through those long xp sessions.

Guess what?

The great peeps are still there, there's still a lot to do

PS Hope we're getting a decent flame this Friday, I've been away for a couple of weeks and noticed the quality was slipping. Defo the 50 blues mate.

Indeed, I hadn't guessed you were Rolith ... kinda liked that guy, had a good sense of humour. Wouldn't have thought a role play guild would actually care if you were an infiltrator, or whatever else class you chose to play, I was referring to the choice from a wider realm perspective.

I started the infil without any real knowledge of the class, other than Jupitus sucked at it.

I learnt EVERYTHING about it from scratch. Didn't auto-train anything, just read as much stuff on the web I could find. I enjoyed Rolith, nice old man, always willing to transport people around.
