Less Bug Abuse Rising Force

Dear my bestest buddies (after Septina ofc) the great Thowen and those friendly chaps at Rising Force,

It has come to my attention that its obviously hard for you in RvR recently... I mean the only "good fights" for you seem to be ones you add on. However there is no need to resort to bug abuse to try to win now is there?

Please keep that naughty friar known as Tucka under control. One cast of ST per fight is fine, but 4 or 5 in 60 secs using the nice bug that comes with BattleMaster is really just not cricket. There is really no need to try and get your friar banned when it doesn't save you anyway.

I only say this because I care.

Point 1: Because I retired my alb accounts about a year ago and haven't paid for them since.

Point 2: A stop watch? Why does he need a stop watch? Its pretty obvious its not due to be back up again, when there is already one up! Or perhaps its been a good 5 seconds since the last one faded? Im sure his memory isn't that bad?

Its not about accidentally pressing buttons. He has to cycle his BM ability for the timer to reset. He knows what hes doing. So cut the crap.

It doesnt take an expert to see a friar spam Static Tempest in 1 fight a few times, now does it?

Contrary to the accusation of Ethilds and kill himselves which is kinda hard to proof UNLESS u seen it happen (due to killspam or something) this thing with ST is kinda obvious.

I reported a bug with Ethilds his TWF (ironically isnt it) and will also report this one to GOA.

Except the difference being that I took a couple of screen shots, brought it to everyones attention, told puppet so it was reported, and didn't use it since? Expecially not in RvR, to try and win fights.

I fail to see why thats amusing.

You used a tactic in which you cast the static tempest and then your group boxed up inside it. It's ok, totally legal tactic, np.

Then your friar by abusing a known bug kept casting the static tempest over and over again. This is not ok, there is a recast timer on the RA for a reason. This is bannable (afaik) bug abuse.

How can you really say your enemies just got owned and you didn't resort to cheating to win, when your entire tactic is based on boxing up on the bug abusing friar who keeps casting a RA he isn't supposed to cast over and over again preventing the enemies from meleeing your group?

How can you say that the friar is not doing anything wrong when he is casting a RA with a 10 minute timer over and over again?

You can't. You were abusing a known bug in RvR to gain victory over your enemies. To me, that is as bad as using radar, speedhack or such.

I think it was not "someone in your guild". It was your guildgroup that was abusing the bug. I guess thats why your guild is mentioned in the topic.

If the people in his group deliberatly boxed around the ST the entire time; you can bet your ass off it was discussed in Vent/TS/groupchat. If it was a guildgroup then in a way the entire guild is cheating and acting in a way which is cheating or on the least acting dishonourable.

Oh well let GOA sort it out. They been told about it, and Im sure the server-logs can be interpreted to find out if its a real mistake (eg. Tucka was drunk like a real friar and didnt keep track of it) or a deliberate attempt in order to gain an unfair advantage ('lolzor mates I got no recast on ST3 lets box all around my perma ST3 to give us all melee-immunity'-scenario).
