Lego

Being bored (and being with slow internet connection) I decided to break out the old Lego box and make a startlingly good creation of my own.
I started out with the great idea of building an A-Wing, this grtadually ended up looking like a ford escort with wings, which is no small feat in itself but no what i was looking for.

So here is the challenge, build something out of lego, whether it be an oversized phallus or a nice spaceship, and post it on here.

The one i like the most will get a free Tony Blackburn greatest hits album

lego was my "big thing" as a kid.
Like a silly twat i sold it all :|

Best creation though was a 3 foot long F1 car, full independant suspension, 4 gears etc.

Wheels were quite a bit too small but never mind :|

I loved lego, got all the space station stuff one year, took it all apart and made Airwolf (looked like a mk 2 escort with rotors... a relative of charltons A wing I think) Well when I say I loved lego, I did... until I met 2 kids who lived down the road from me I went into thier house one day and there on the sideboard was a perfect AT AT. Admittedly it was various colours but goddamit it was perfect :( I dont think I ever bothered again after that, I felt my own lego skillz were insignificant and not worthy of the art this kid could produce

That's the great thing about being a kid. The ability to truly appreciate the things that really matter.

I loved Lego as a child, now I am regressing as my own child is absolutely bonkers about Lego too, we spend ages making weird castles and stuff.

Also into Lego Bionicle - super weird.

I too loved lego. Unfortunately it's all at my parent's house, so I can't play in your competition, Charlie. :(

mah greatest creation

this was years ago, but using the Technics Program kit (the precursor to all the pc controlled lego stuff) i built me a T80 tank :) absolutely fucking massive, independant tracks, rotating turret, up/down barrel. twas the shiznit. except for the fact that it was so big, and my "playroom" of the time so small, that it could go forward about 2 feet, and that was it. it never worked on concrete :/

I always wanted the Technics Forklift truck thing, but just got a bag of assorted colloured bricks.

TBH, my nephew has stacks of Lego, but its all preformed stuff now, you dont actually have to build anything.

I was shit at trying to create stuff with technic, always had to follow the guides :( but lego was great fun. used to have the police van with sirens, police boat that actually sank in the bath etc. used to act out whole stories, build houses, behead the little yellow men.............*sniff*

I still got my Lego somewhere Got a feeling its buried at the back of my loft,

At school we had to see how quickly we could build a house,

I never got the point why we had to do it

You had to do that in Yr11? Humph, was better than anything i was supposed to do at school at that time. The most fun part was the actual exams.

:/

I was very obsessive about my collection of Lego Space. Sometimes when my younger cousins came round my mum insisted I let them play with my lego. Instant panic attacks :( I'd attempt to accidentally injure them so they couldn't mess it up any more. And making the monorail in my space station fly ??? It's a fucking monorail you retarted little shit, it does not fly. The rocket ships fly. Things on rails and things with wheels stay and the rails and moon-surface respectively. For fucks sake, if you can't play properly then play with your own fucking toys !!111

Technic wasn't around in my days, we had to get up at 4 o clock in the morning, lick road clean with tongue and build little Spitfires using intoxicating glue.
