Not sure m8, but i got HL and the CD key worked for CS (Retail) as well so i should think so.

HL generations with HL and CS (thats two cd keys so u got a choice

afaik all CD keys for HL games work the same.

And there i am wondering why soo many cheat0rs have multiple won's so easily, it's cause valve just hand em out :/

Hell, Theres websites out there that PUBLISH valid CD keys for warez monkeys to use.
Might, just might, be the issue that some legit person has - someone else has "nabbed" his CD key

So,
Let me get this right.
If I install CS (retail) from an "acquired" CD and use my half life key, this should still let me play CS over the NET ????
I can then uninstall HL
