- Clear out the room.
- Have one guy run up and get aggro from him, keeping him on his plateu, make sure everyone gets up as fast as possible so you keep him there.
- When his buddies repop during the fight, have a few people take them out and then return to the legion.
- When he ports you, run straight back to him.
- Have the healers spam small heals on the guy who has aggro.
- Use bleedstyles.
- Have your casters debuff as much as possible then use their staffs to fight thus save mana for the lesser guys that pop.

3fg can take him no problem, you will probably succeed with 2fg aswell if you build decent groups (pbt, healers, tanks with guard and melee damage-dealers).

Try and set up a main aggro group with ideally, but not necessarily, 3 Paladins, 2 PBT Theur, 2 Clerics, 1 Mini (50 Instru) so that if the main aggro in the group gets ported there should still be 1-2 others left to pick up the aggro. The tank with the aggro should /y to identify himself so non-grouped clerics can heal him.

3fg is a possible number to do Legion and if so I'd designate 1fg to specifically be responsible for add clearance (a caster heavy group with a main taunt paladin would probably be best esp if it has a couple of ice wizards).

The 3rd group can really be anything but might be best to be something like 3 Mercs, 1 Theur, 1 Mini, 2 Clerics, 1 Paladin for subsidiary healing and max damage potential.

An important thing to remember is that Legion can heal by killing someone hence the idea of keeping all aggro on 1-2 main people and concentrating on keeping them alive at all costs. The porting to Behemoth is a pain but other than that he's fairly straight forward.

/em miss's the SoTL and LoE legion raids :(

we used to kick his ass(with like 8FG's)
the main threat with legion is that he regenerates and Ports people, the level 99 Mob is very slow so no oneshould be killed, main problem is main tank being ported and everyone having to find out who the 'new' Main tank is

There's a quest (3rd in a series of 3) where you have to kill Legion. You have to do the other two quests first. Start the sequence by talking to Sister Elaydith on one of the balconies in the Church in Camelot. Each quest requires you kill a named mob in DF.

Quests are called:

Black Plague
Strange Bedfellows
Breaking the Blade

If you can do the other two quests before taking on Legion, you could kill two birds with one stone. Only trouble is, no-one seems to know what the reward is for the third quest...

YEah those raids kicked some serious butt. Remember doing Legion 3 times in one evening. One of my happiest moment was being allocated the infil vest from Legion after one of the LOE/SOTL raids there, after doing alot for the guild. And then Rambo quitting the guild over it because he thought he deserved it for getting more RPs, and we were disrepecting him in front of his peers.
Ahhh....memories.

Best Legion raid was the one where Hibs were already killing it and Legion was down to 50%. Managed to quickly kill the Hibs and finish off Legion. :)

Although I think the Hibs were so pissed off they did a relic raid later that evening, and failed that too! :p
