I used to see you sitting around the Agramon bridge pretty much any time I was online, literally. That's enough to give me an impression. And, from my limited personal experience, I'd say reavers are the easiest tanks to solo with, in albion at least, and with the amount of time you spent in rvr, aswell as your 'tactics', I'm pretty sure anyone would get rr10 eventually.

Sorry Xrys, you're a decent enough reaver but no legend...

Yeah, you solo'd to RR10 95% of the time and you're hard to beat 1on1, can't deny that...

However, anyone who has been suspended more than once for bug (texture) abuse in rvr (hiding below the floor and in the door in the alb villa where you couldn't be hit and dropping twf) is no legend...

Hell, if I remember correctly, one of your other favourite tactics at one point was to spec battlemaster, drop twf and grapple your opponent inside it... Wasn't that at RR6/7?

firsti got banned for that...learned my lesson
second i used BG for one week when i was rr7 i respeced cos it was sick
and third second time i was banned i was stucked by mistake and i wasnt the onlyone tho!


edit: for the second time i got banned was next to the spot i bug abused i was trying to get inside sprint on wall and jump behind villa

Then an enemy would have to spend 30 pts just to be able to outdo reavers, which could be a pointer to them being a bit tough in one on one's? And nope, I don't consider mercs overpowered, tho that might just be me. If dt would make a light tank overpowered then the same would apply to vampiir's, and I'd trade in dt for vendo mode or blademaster rr5 any day.

I don't have as much spare time as you seem to have ;p I wasn't criticising you anyway, as you seem to be taking it that way. I just thought your view on being a legend was a bit twisted.

Being proud of soloing is nice and all, but I'm pretty sure that a proper fg-fg fight is harder than most solo fights. I used to solo a fair bit, and to me it's more about patience as to not get frustrated for getting zerged or outnumbered every other fight, rather than it being particulary difficult. Also in one on one fights the outcome is more class dependant than in fg fights, as some classes will have to do their very best not to win.

hib: redb made me laugh alot just run into an massive zerg solo mezz every 1 then run away, but i guess my hib legened wud be Minikene for sure ^^

Alb - Outlaw/zoister/Alpha classic players, maybe not the BEST ones skill wise but still well worthy of mentioning when it comes down to profiles/legends of a realm ( during the old days ofc ).

Hib - Tankster/Aragone, great players and also where the ones in hib who helped evolve the 8v8 most during the earlier days.

Mid - Xanatea, top notch gamer and with a straight forward goal of making his guild the nr1 of the server(s).

rvr wise.. hib excal- saadyst, novamir, domain, garba and ofc the sheep guy

alb excal - elajt (good fights) alpha.. simply the best mincer ever imo, jumped off my seat when i finally beat him 1 v1, and gotta have a lot of respect for outlaw and zoyster for having a go day after day hehe

mid excal - zzang.. was a bit whiney but i killed him lots before grapple nerf! boo!!!.. montarloo.. always there or thre abouts (was also my first kill on my menty btw.. menty was lvl 33 at time hehe), netcode.. too much damage!!

hib pryd - jamiesmallicus... i'd played champ but the guy always gave me problems, hit hard

mid/pryd - anyone from blackbyrd family.. farmed us to buggery

Imagin to play a tank w/o styles for that long time (and at the time there where no /level20 ect). And when he well started to spec, he made a even spec between ALL melee weapons...
