Anybody knows what is the current common pricing of a Legendary Weapon?

I was not able to understand and make a idea both from this forums or from the market explorer.

I put my first Legendary in my CM yesterday (Legendary Long Sword 97%) and coudn't avoid to set a completely random price....

700-900G of materials
1 Rare Drop
a capped LGM WC....

is 3.5P a wild guess?
is that too much (not a big problem... i wont be able to sell it and ill lower the price in a few days)?
is that too low (that could be a problem couse I would have undersold that)?

anyone has a clue to help me or has bought one of those recently?

thanks

You going to farm all the needed stuff for the buyer?

Most people probably will get the materials, the components and a weapon and will then pay a wc:er to make the legendary weapon.

The price depends a lot on the quality, the rarity of the dropped component and the demand for the type of elemental damage.. a cold or fire weapon is more popular than a matter one.

1p for materials + mark up
the dropped component about 1p
Nice 97% quality

so I think 3.5p is a good price to start with :)

PS- what elemental damage type is it?

I can believe that this is true, but I dont see the point of it.
You pay that big difference between 99% and MP not for the 1% damage more but for the higher SC OC capability.

Legendary Weapons have build-in stats, cant be SCed... what is the point of having a MP at a so high price?

Prestige ;)

And alittle higher effective DPS aswell :)

Not much, but everything counts in RvR. Could mean the difference between life 'n' Death :)

Ok, so what would the point of each type be?

Heat - for mainly killing assassins (+15% vs leather). Shades of Mist users could probably change their reactive armour ablatives for heat DD's to get the most out of the heat debuff.

Cold - mainly for non-leather enemies. Cold debuffing.

Matter - probably for combining with regular matter DoT procs on a second weapon or armour. Combined with Wild Arcana (champ, nightshade), critting debuffs and DoTs could be pretty sweet.

Spirit - universally neutral, the dependable jack-of-trades. Spirit debuffing.

think there is also another point in matterweaps. I cant speak for fire, cold or spirit resists here but I witnessed a certain lowness in matter resists somehow. Either most peeps thought that high matter resist aint that important (cause most of the peeps I hit with my weap either had none or just very low matter resíst) or I've forgotten something.

welll that 1% makes a big difference, u'r weapon goes from 16.5 dps to 16.3 dps.... if u have a 97% qual its away down near 15.6 dps.... so needless to say if u want a weapon u want a weapon that hits somewhere near its dmg potential not some weapon u payed 3 plat for thats cm drop quality
