Should be illegal in my opinion. I don't think any job has the right to dictate what someone does in his spare time (Excluded when you're on on-call duty, and police officers and other law-upholders or law-creators, well, perhaps that might be a different matter also), plus eating too many poppy seeds can set off a heroine drug test :/

What about people who are controlling heavy plant machinary or working in a potentially dangerous environment where them mucking up could put lives at risk?

If you wanna get high why does it have to be legal? doubt its much healtier takeing 10-20 pills you can buy legal then 1 or 2 ecstasy pills .

If any of this stuff did much it wouldn't be legal. Household nutmeg is one exception I can think, as makes u hallucinate, but you need to shovel the best part of 100g down your throat and makes quite sick also. Probably easy to overdose too, as takes couple of hrs to kick in.

Anyone tried any of these that actually work?

I've never really done the illegal highs tbh (other than a bit of weed) and I wouldn't know where to start getting something like MDMA

Had a couple of goes with herbal ecstasy that have had almost negligible effects

Magic mushrooms. They are legal so long as you dont process them. DO NOT eat them as you pick them though. You will end up popping a couple of death caps (which can look similar) and find yourself dead.

To be honest though you would be better with weed. not legal but far safer. And if you cant smoke it then get a nice block of Afgan black, cut off enough to make a ball about 1/4 inch diameter and swallow it. 30 mins later you gonna be happy

how exactly does this work then?
the facts as i know it are THC only becomes active when either vaporised (smoking) or turned into its acid form (cooking it).

Well I'm not sure what you mean about mechanisms, stuff of plant origin is less likely to get legistlated against as it's not always practical, is weaker and tends to be more a fringe activity. But yeah you have a point about salvia, tho not sure what u mean by 'stronger' than LSD.

Eating hash will still get u wrecked afaik, cooking or no cooking. Mates who didn't smoke used to chew it and wash it down with their pints.

It will though it will take longer and be less effective.

The reason for smoking a substance like that is that it is practically forced into your bloodstream instantly.

If you eat it then will take a lot longer to be absorbed as it has to go through the digestive process and a lot of it would probably be destroyed by the stomach acid

you could 'insert' it anywhere that it can absorb into the blood stream. There was a fad years ago where people were putting tabs and lsd under their eyelids because your eyes have thousands of tiny blood vessels in them and this would absorb the substance straight in.

what i mean is its far more intense although for a shorter period of real time (in the trip you have no concept of time, at least i never have).

although due to its nature you can do experiments without being completely fucked up. my most memorable time is the old women who helped me to the toilet

Actually hash when ingested takes a lot longer, as you say, but rather than being weaker, is stronger. This is because when you smoke it, you don't get all the hash, just the stuff that is burnt (some is left in the ash unburnt), and you also breathe some out.

It's also harder to control, though, as the effects come so much later.

Can obtain it from your local headshop really, I can get it from a place in boro called the festival shop, which is where I imagine tris goes too.

Local stoner shop or online, also if you can get hold of them, try the blends, I had cherry salvia and Salvia/fly agaric mixture in the past, was fun that. First thing that happened was my knee lifted up and I could see a ferris wheel underneath it.
