Leaving for a bit.

Decided to have another break from the game, been getting a bit bored with it lately, i'm not actually leaving, but i wont be on much until we get respec in the patch, then i wan to try an ungimped eldritch for a change, with a spec line which isnt brocken

anyway, to anyone who would expect me ingame, i wont be around for more than a day here and there until we get patched, i'll be on morrowind instead, great fun that one you have enchantments, which is like spellcrafting but oh so much more powerfull. ie you could, i fyou wanted too, enchant a sword with the ability to give someone a big hit to their poison resistance, then poison them then stun them all at once. all sorts of stuff, you can create armour that gives a pbaoe stun, or heals you when hit etc... some really interesting things available there, it's bloody huge too.

since i recently purchased a bunch of months on my subscription i will pop in now and then to say hi, but until were patched there's not much for me to do in game, can't lvl alts because i've already done that etc... done crafting, dont want to play a voidgimp anymore, so i'll wait till respec then come back for my swanky new mana eldritch and ya better group me this time!

btw, morrowind uses the same engine that SI uses, it also uses exactly the same water effect which were getting in the DAOC expansion, and it's SWEEET! takes some getting used too but looks ace, shrouded isle will look very nice!

Morrowind is indeed sweet, using a sword that paralyzes right now, whack a target, then summon a nice hefty axe, bang, dead target

Well have a nice break, hopefully the patch is worth waiting for eh

By the way, the character classes you can have are as overpowered as an infil and then some! i have made a char which is basically a wizard, excellent magic abilities etc... he also has the ability to wear and use plate armour (heavy) and use longsword (ie, a big sodding two handed sword at the moment, which i enchanted with a fire damage spell that hits for a hell of a lot of damage EVERY time i hit), oh, he can turn invisble too and all sorts of other stuff, teleport, fly, etc...

the phrase MUAHAHAHHAH! comes to mind

hehe well it's fun elerand, basically there's also nobody in the towns saying: "f00k off from m4 spawn camp y4 f00k1ng n00b!!! g0nn4 r0xx0r j00!"

and yes its' easy, but i like it, means you can just concentrate on roleplay and the story etc... no need to kill 5000000000000000000000000000000000000 mobs before you can carryon, i like the no xpign system too, just practice your skills, train them, then when ten of htem have leveled up (or 1 has lvl'd ten times or anything inbetween etc..) you level up, it's nice to not have to xp again.

i'm just going to enjoy making my Ring of Undead Wrath! which will summon a whole shit load of undead skeleton lords etc... then i'll show those guards what i'm all about!

once i get later into the game i'm going to consider becoming a vampire though, since you can even contract vampirism from fighting with one the possibilities of this game are endless makes daoc look way too shallow, BUT, you cant chat to your mates, which, for me personally is most of the reason i play daoc at all these days

I wouldn't say it was an easy game, there is a lot to take in and fighting more than one mob at a time is tricky although saying that I did take on 3 vamps at lvl 1 with my trusty ancestral ghost

ancestral ghosts are wonderful, i just summon one, cast soul trap, kill it with my rather powerfully enchanted weapons (did em myself too i may add ), and sell the buggers to the creeper for 4000g each havent used one in a fight yet though, havent needed too, my enchanted swords are just too good to need it .
