What is it with purple cons and interfering in fights?

Three times tonight Ive been killed by someone of even con (more or less). Ive then hunted them down and attempted to gain revenge when lo and behold with my enemy nearly dead some purple con gimp appears and kills me, his only explanation that he "doesnt like pk'ers". Im not even a pk'er ffs.......

BUGGER OFF.

We are quite capable of fighting our own battles you know, most of the time your interference is wrong anyway. Go fight with each other for keeps and leave us to fight our own battles.

Hmmfff. anyway with that out of the way, hooray for PvP, I'm enjoying it immensely (above point notwithstanding).

Dont like it then dont play PVP and wasnt it obvious this sorta stuff was going to happen, I mean christ US has had pvp for months now and you have done no reading about their views/experience on it?

i kinda find grey cons annoying 70% of them allways try to pk higher cons for exp and money.... they are like parasites or insects.... hence why lots of greys die when purps see them looking at them etc...

Oh if you got a theurg/cabalist/spiritmaster/enchanter you should be aware that everyone hates you cos what lot of ppl that play your kind of class do... send pets and lame etc etc..

Greys go no respect for higher lvls so higher lvls got no respect for greys etc..

Its a pvp server so live with it or go play some singelplayer game were you cant get pissed off.. (or i dont know, you might be havnt tested any of those games)

Pvp server is for those who like challanges and lots of action, not the rpg:ers that like fibbeling about doing wierd stuff and chit chatting, they will soon find theirself back on their old server or they leave daoc

oh 90% of the posters here are simply forum rats that do not enjoy the game even, and all they do is whine at this and that, whine at the good things instead - whats makeing you play?

PS: to hit modifier is gone for greys to bash purps for lots of dmg - allmost cap sometimes... so dont say your totally lame against any higher con..

was referring to the explanation the purplecon made after killing two greycons fighting each other as in he didn't like pk'ers and then proceeded in killing the two who were in combat at that time. ofcourse, this only proves an old phrase a man becomes what he hates the most to be correct (works for females too, i guess)

edit: the us vs terrorism is a good example - you bomb us, we kill everyone who ever even saw you or your ancestors

and as some purple said.. its pvp, if u dont like to die then play a singleplayer game... i think that statement is more apropriate on a con purple then a con grey....

ok heres my experiance of enchanters.

Everytime i leave an enchanter alone simply running by 5secs later yup u guessed it pet is nuking me and hes nuking me its just so fucking anoying so every enchanter is Kos for me now.

the thing is with enchanters they can get away so easily with their nuking pet... when you attack them the pet starts to cast with that snare... then they just sprint off a bit and light nuke you. No escape. Also all the infils I've seen always go for tanks or something stupid, never the enchanters.... or theurgists for that matter.

Being killed by purple cons when fighting an even level is no fun

As Shagrat said if they are interfering because they think they see it as helping the wronged they are just as often wrong themselves.

I tell you what is really annoying, this purple cleric started whacking me and it was pretty even-stevens UNTIL this purple con starts debuffing me! I mean wtf why debuff me he attacked and he has the uber buffs, and hes purple con.

yup... but you will also notice how many ppl play on the US PvP at peak time over there, hardly any due to the fact most ppl got pretty p!ssed with being ganked & have now stopped playing it & it looks like PvP euro will follow the same footsteps thanks to *some* idiots!

shagrat m8y... in the past if ive been ganked by purple con player for no reason i get my revenge, just grp up wit aload of your m8's & go looking ive had many revenge on purple con who think its easy & fun to gank a gray ...if only i could see there faces when they were just ganked by grays but like i say ...its only a *few* ppl that seem to think its fun ganking grays , ive met alot of high lev players & they been cool & even helped me out on a few occasions anywayz...dont let these few ppl spoil PvP for you m8y ..it wont be too long till you get high enough lev that they will think twice about trying to gank you

but enchanter is very easy for minstrel/skald to beat mez the pet and they run arround like headless chickens

goes both ways. countless of times have I mezzed one or more enemies of greencon or higher at and around Mag Mell (its worst here) and prepared to a fight, meanwhile 3-5 greycons, often enchanters with their fooking pet, joins the fight. And since both sides often are purp to them, and I'm a bard, they tend to place their bet on the opponent and start nuking me. Its highly annoying and those situations has decreased my tolerance for lowbies, especially enchanters. I often helt out melee tanks if they are getting owned by an enchanter.

Ofcourse we can just avoid fighting at places like Mag Mell, but doing quests, trips etc. it is a place you are forced to visit once in a while and often enemies attack you if u dont attack them first.

If I see an unguilded chanter or on of certain guilds I will always target the chanter. I'll not kill it, but at least it gives me the chance to get to it if it targets me, instead of getting the bloody pet in the autotarget.

If his point was to kill you why wouldn't he have debuffed you? My fights with any purple con are always pretty much even... until I hit one and get hit back or bolted .

All chanters I see are KOS too, this seems to be the case with all people I group with. I dont mind fighting fair, but chanters sitting on the healer roof in prydwen keep and such difficult to reach places nuking everyone is crappy play in my opinion. Also, chanters seem to be the only class I see which attack me on sight regardless of their con. Worse yet, a lot of times while I'm fighting mobs they'll start nuking etc.

Well I play an enchanter on Camlann and do not kill ppls especially if they are xping, I was groupd with Escorpion (infil) the other day an asked him to wait to kill another enchanter until they had killed there mob.

So we are not all bad but if you treat as such then we will all become bad. If you gank them on sight then what can you expect if they start doing the same?

The whole thing is a joke, there shouldn't be leveling in PVP. Everyone should have a lvl 50 char straight way and a full set of spec points to spend on what they like.

Then you could nuke/stun/mess/pa/slash/stab/bludgeon/bolt each other to death all day long.
The game would be based on skill, not level.

lol, u know what?? from what i have seen theres ALOT more whining from high lvl peeps getting killed by greycons then theres greycons bitching about purps killing them....

and like a few already explained.. if u gank someone on sight, whats to stop them from doing it to you??

so lets just stop acting like 2 years old here on the forums and just kill everyone we see... the faster ppl get bored of PvP the faster we get back to the normal servers... (You KNOW you will get bored of PvP and leave)
