Learn the Lingo

Thought it would be nice to make a post about some of the lingo I have come across on my journeys to lvl 50, so here goes:

EOC- we all know and love this one with the pygmies and the Trees means end of chain, like the chain of mobs coming at ya is no more kaput finished u can breath again and rez that Sorc or that cleric who just saved ur ass but got themselves killed in the process

Warpers- Relatively new term which has come into action at the trees, its used when u pull a worm and then see it coming towards u think ooooo just a single worm when WHAM 3 trees are on ya minstrel beating the hell out him and ya cleric uses instas only to scream AGGRO AGGRO FFS AGGRO!!!

TGW-Yup we have all come across it one day, Total Group Wipe, its when u are pulling some mobs on the plains only to find ur oh so clever scout friend has hit F8 on a mob of Grove Nymphs and while ur safely smacking some Basilisk around, unbeknown to u a small group of Nymphs are incoming to woop ya ass, resulting in you guessed it a TGW


These are just a snippet of some I have come across anymore u know just whack em here

well there are loads arnt there, well like a lot of rvr ones , apk,mpk,amg, well they are pretty obvious once u rvr but may be good for new players ..well really there are soo many i cant think where to sart hmmm ..

And you think theurgs got a funnier job? you can mezz atleast=)

we therugs tend to ending up on /stick or /sitt only to do buffs every 10 mins and keep that bt running=)

Well I havnt RvR much,- like close to nothing as IM only L35. So to me your abbreviations arnt obvious Xion.

And this is classic - you do something for so long you forget it was hard once.

Plz dont see this as i flame of you, more a general point.

And Ligth grat idea to start a thread like this. My comtribution would be:

hehe my guild aint big enough for 1 group nor is it powerfull enough=)

When I was lvl my theurg I spent most of the time nuking/casting friction as well, easily done if you use the 10 sec bt instead of the 8 sec one ( no-one ever notices )

Still, all the tanks in the group saying "EB/Haste plz" every 10 mins really starts to annoy you after a while...



Its all worth it when you see your pets chasing someone across emain tho

Heh don't knock the earth buff/haste...

They probably do more damage than your nukes... way more...

Had a guild hunt in dartmoor last night.. without buffs we were struggling killing one giant, with buffs 3 was easy...

EB applies to both weapons on a dual wielder... turns a merc from a nice damage dealer into a sick blur of deadly metal (who can vie with paladin heal chant for aggro)

Yeah it's boring to cast ... no flashy effects on the monster... but it's unbelievably important

yeah i realy saved their but for a while=) untill we stuimbled into some purple outlookers=) 4 shots and i'm dooown (2 on my 8sec bt=)

if we'd only had the one plus the melee fellow we mighta done ok

but the fellow sitting on the hill sniping our healer/pbt didn't help...

well he spec in ice I believe so the mezz not that hot the root was cool, but not much use against archers natch.

another iritating thing is if you msg someone and you get this msg back: "?" what r they asking for?

and some dude/duda managed to squeeze out ASL to me hehe. (age, sex, location for those that didnt know=)
