LDing all the fckin time!!!

Since the the connections problems GOA had my account keeps lding every 20-30 mins

i mainly LD when ppl get lag spikes can anyone shead some light its making it impossible to play

Without having to run pingplotter yet, as I just got home from work, I'm suspecting the issues are with OpenTransit, as their servers and routers tend to get very busy around primetime.

ive updated my drivers for my network card and router and still ld when ever where is lag

As long as the lag problem is with OpenTransit or servers/routers beyond your physical reach, there's nothing you can do about it, send pingplots to GoA, they will send to OpenTransit, in time, they might upgrade to a better backbone to support the rush in primetime.

If you LD when other people just get lag then it's likely that your problem is being compounded somewhere along your route as it affects you more strongly than others. Given there's quite a large spike in the Bulldog network as well as the OT spikes, it's possible that there may be some routing issues from Bulldog's backbone to OT which their techs may be able to sort out if you show them the details.

Unfortunately network topologies change over time, as does the routing parameters that the different network boxes use.

So its in a universe of infinite probabilities, co incidences can happen. So if people have lag spikes in their own network (re: broadband provider), then this will compound the issues that the idiots in OT have.

So the ping plots you provide here should be sent onto your broadband provider, so they can chase up things there end.

Bulldog are a total pile of shite bud, trust me I have had no end of problems with them.
There the worst ISP I have ever used, and cutomer service is nothing short of a joke.
As soon as I move in next few weeks I'm sacking them for a list of reasons.

I just had a reply from rightnow and they said the Ping Plot is totally Clean and ive got Computer Lag? Playing was ok last nite only LD every 2 hours instead of 10

In fact that pingplot shows nothing wrong bar an high latency at 1 point, but that shit happens. If it happens clearly in over time than they can fix the problem.
Also on the time spectrum bar right click and choose at least 6 hours as spectrum of log file -.-

ive got a P4 AMD 3000
1 GiG
128 ATI GFX card

never had problems before can dual log quite well. I only started having the problems after the problems with open transit. While im xping ppl get lag spikes and i will always LD
