ld when idle ?

i get LD everytime iam afk for like 10 mins.. i heard that u can use some settings to make that afk time longer or even take it away... iam on WINXP , pls help me

Normally daoc times out if you don't do anything for awhile... but that's longer than 10 mins.

you get kicked from server when being inactive for like 1 hour or something, not 10 minutes. might be your windows screensaver that ruins daoc?

check properties ov ur nic

in power menagemnt field shoulden't be flagged
"allow the computer to turn off this device to save power"

if ur pc goes stand by... or power safe u will lose ur ip... an so ur connection


even chek the lease time out

Yeah, I had that problem with the 'Standby' power options. Whenever I went away for 15 mins, I'd come back to find the internet connection lost. Could be that.

I find that when I run my buffbot, oh the horror of someone using a buffbot, on my laptop, if I don't do something with him for a while, like run a heal spell, then the account goes LD. I assume that there is an inactive account boot from the server but not sure how long it is. 30 mins sounds good though.
