The T2xx Samsung series suffer from backlight bleeding, it's very aparent, and their standby to powerup time is horrendous.
Excellent contrast and brightness, rounded colours, feature full, but if you're more than a casual PC user, the bleeding and the powerup time are hard to swallow.
i dont understand, what bleeding? and the monitor loads up in 5 seconds. Hardly time consuming
I use mine for my laptop and mostly for my 360

This is what backlight bleeding means on T240
And 5 seconds is enough to miss important messages in the POST screen. Not important for someone who doesn't care about the POST screen, but quite important for savy people.
Same panel, so same problem, i'm afraid.
Doh should be LED Samsung 32" LED-TV UE-32B6000 (Full HD)I use a 32" LCD. Got it for free after i helped a company check out alot of 32 inch tvs for their buisness. Works great for gaming.![]()
I can honestly say i dont have that bleeding problem with my monitor
And what makes you think im not savvy? being an IT administrator i like to think im pretty clued up with machines. I just switch my monitor on before the PC not really rocket science
Sparx said:Everyone in my house use Samsungs, and another housemate is an IT admin like me and swears by them also. So by that evidence i will continue to use them and love them. Just like everyone else i know who use them on our advice and love them
I have a T240....
Don't really notice any bleeding, but the POST thing is very true.
Also happens when you hook up more than 1 device and switch inputs.... takes a while for it to display the picture.
But I can live with it. It's a great monitor!
