Not that I am at all bitter. Took me 3 hours to get a BNC set up to get Apathy back online. Longest my IRC connection has been down in 4 months.

Well, you would get a BNC or vhost G-lined within minutes. Look what happened to me.

It might be your ISP, it might be you. With no other ISP to try, all that is left is the "Format C:/" option. If you were running 2K, I would have said you were running some services you shouldn't.

Well, you are running out of options here. I assumed you have some sort of trojan on your system when you got me G-lined (for 12 bloody hours), since the proxy scan wouldn't have got any further than my BNC. Most likely it is hanging about in your mIRC in some way, I assume you haven't deleted that so far.

Another free firewall is from Tiny Software, their Personal Firewall is FREE for home use, not as nice as ZA or BID and a bugger to get started, but good.
