After Tuesday nights successfull ML2 raid I'm feeling lucky... well I am... punk. So why not all meet up at Aerus Haven for 8:15pm GMT departure (based on last raid everyone who went was there by then).

Bit more notice this time than last time so maybe we can get a few more peeps in, I've checked to forums and so far as I can tell this doesn't clash with any other raids.

The prequests and farming should be done first as always, we WILL NOT be killing Moughart or the Triton Shaman, but we will form groups of those who need swords and eggs as whole group gets them at once.

Use www.visionofsages.com to get yer group prequests done, I would not recommend trying to do them solo.

The main problem with ML3 is going AFK usually ends up with you being stuck on a wall and losing the rest of the raid.
Couple this with the fact that the raid takes ages to farm Egg's and Swords and you have a nightmare on your hands.

Ame has already offered to make a ML3 (3.4 & 3.10) raid maybe we could join the two together and do a whole ML3.

If we get 2fg's we should be ok to do everything cept 3.10 which can be annoying if you get the invincible statues spawn on ya.

Aye, I've seen Ame's post... but no date/time decided yet. And it's quite limited if we only do 3.4 and 3.10, I've done most of ML3 as well, but if we want a decent sized raid we may well have to do more than 2 steps, so I'm willing to do most again. This is open to everyone and personally I'd love to have everyone following Ame's post on this one!

you can put the egg/swords as a requirement (i.e. don't do it on the raid - people should take fgs into the dungeon and do them beforehand) but you'd need a bit more notice for that.

If I were leading a public raid I'd make Moughart part of it but the eggs/swords not.... but normally people won't have the eggs or sword bit done...

The pregnant cobra spawn was upped last patch wasn't it? Haven't tried since then but might make things more bearable. Think I remember reading it but cba to check. Moughart is worth getting the zerg to do imo as its a much tougher kill than a shaman.

Yes, there are now shit loads of them.

Doing it on a raid doesn't actually take that long...it's when one person out of 100 can't find a sword you have issues.

My reasons for putting Moughart as a pre-req was that he's not in dungeon like the rest, and he can take a while to spawn/find. When we did it with 2fg's we camped both his loc's and it took about 15 mins waiting before he popped, then had to wait for other group to get there. Keeping a leash on all the rabid raiders for that long doing nothing at all could be tough

And the eggs and swords... yes lots of pregnant cobra's spawn now, the zerg I was with had 98 people in it and I never saw a time when there wasn't at least 1 pregnant up. They just keep popping as you kill them

Swords could be annoying, and I'd prefer if most brought one if they haven't done the whole task already, but it is short notice and plenty of guardians hang around on the way to a few of the tasks if I remember rightly.

Anyone wanting the prequests just stick a post on here with your time for tonight or before the raid tomorrow and someone's bound to turn up

Possible stroke of genuis... possible stupid idea. If we don't take too long about it anyone wanting to join the ML4 raid Saturday being run by Kithana can follow on from this and do the prequests mentioned in their post. I know I'd be happy to abuse the collection of people already there

Wouldn't mind helping with the 3.4 and 3.10. Though 3.4 is utter crap, and takes loads of skill to do, I think we might be able to do it with the correct amount of numbers. No idea if its been nerfed, or changed recently.

If your doing it on 28th friday I can help with the 3.4 and 3.10 on the saturday after (29th). Now we just need the people to attend.

/edit Just read your last reply oO. I doubt I can attend any raids on fridays . I also still need the other ml4 parts and doubt I can make them today, or tommorow .

Y'know, despite the fact I posted this raid because I'm impatient and want to do it NOW without waiting for someone else to schedule one in the future I was seriously considering your request. Honest, really.

As long as you've got > about 35 people, including a few clerics and a theurg or two, zerg the 1st one - don't listen to any of the rubbish on VoS. Tried it many many times their way and wiped bigger zergs, then a tacticless kill with a much smaller one in the end. Then just make sure you kill the other adds in the right order - take the summoning one down fast before it, well, summons.

I need 3.1 3.4 and 3.10 so il be there, our alliance did a raid a week back and the Pregnant cobra's are n0w very abundant. It should be made clear though that of you DO NOT have the pre quests you will not get credit for many of Ml3.

Well, it took for blooooody ever to do this raid. But it got done. As usual I wussed out from being bg leader, cuz I'd be terrible anyway. Don't know my way round any ML dungeons yet. Congratulations to Bometal for stepping up to the challenge right from the start and doing a damn fine job.

Advice to anyone else doing ML3 raids... swords and eggs should be required. This took by far the longest of any step. You should recommend the farming of an eel stomach, hopefully someone will have one for the raid and cut time there too.

And last bit of advice... pray. Pray to the lord our god that you don't have an LD every 5 minutes.

Well,

After running a succesfull preq raid, I was suddenly bombared to ML3 raid leader

Things went smooth, although the zerg is hard to control sometimes...

It was a fun night, shame the swordpart took so long...

Now I tasted the "fun" of raidleading, I will probably run more ML raids in the future although I got to survive my exams first :/
