Latency Issues

Getting Mid Bubble Red/Yellow all the time during 9am-4pm ... am on 100mbit connection, not downloading anything parallel to playing daoc.

Ping Plotter shows these addresses with ping of 500-800 :

Is there any way to fix the problem please ?

Did this start recently and have you been notified by your ISP if they are doing any maintenance?

Many people play on 56k and hardly ever lag.

What route does your connection to the game go through?

Prolly the French Wanadoo problems as was before -

Only real way to fix is to mail 50 pingplots a day to the ppl responsible

does the ping go down from time to time, have you checked your network card etc.? have your ISP reported any problems?

i will include full pingplotter report asap. For now to answer the questions : Playing from Moscow /Russian Federation. ISP is solid, 100 mbit connection that never ever used to give me any grief and even when playing daoc a week ago it was a solid connection with lp. No maintenance was perfomred <very sure of that> . Main lag times <abour 5-6 sec delays> are 9-16 CET.

If it is a local problem and not isp then what can it be please...

It may be related to either your ISPs routing or one of its transit providers further down the line.

While during the day or before it was fine, during busy periods you get routed differently or the section in question is having maintenance/problems.

Id agree with Deadman,

If at peak times your ISP has decided to re-route your connection this is where you may get the extra Packloss. (since its packetloss not latency thats the problem)

Double check your hardware also - things can always go wrong even after a time of 100% perfect use.

Problem just vanished, in same way it appeared Ta for tips all. Saved me alot of hassle
