yeh.. Alb power relic keep is shit to defend, tbh it's the first time I saw it, it's so much easier to attack a keep that's not on a hill (like all the other relic keeps.. wtf were Mythic thinking?)
and the distance from the borderkeep is stupid too

combined now with faultfinder (which is overpowered, gets fixed in NF), it's basically impossible for albs to defend Myrddin without advance warning, and given the low population in Alb frontiers, advance warning is unlikely too

That's the biggest problem atm. And to imagine now we have at least porters so we can port Snowdonia. Imagine old days...

Give New Frontiers and better servers for some real Relic action imho!!

True it's easiest to port from your house but it still takes time to get to the Snowdonia Border Keep and Myrddin. The areas around Snowdonia are badly populated as frankly there's no real reason (apart from the relic keep) to go there. Snowdonia is awful to RvR in, so are the Pennine's as there's too many hills. The Black Mountain areas that lead into Snowdonia only have low level mobs. Hadrian's Wall is pretty decent, but most people just instantly go Emain as it's generally faster to port than to run all the way to it. To ride from Sauvage to Snowdonia takes ages, to run through the Frontiers takes ages. There seems to be a lot of reasons why Myrddin is so tough to defend. Mainly though it's a combination of location and Emain junkies.

ye no1 binds near snow atall, every binds at cs and snowdonia is there almost 4 zones away to the BK, then u gotta traverse over the zone, takes far to long, add to that its hard to defend just makes it a joke.

Plus the nearest bind stone to Snowdonia is Swanton Keep which is still a decent way from the Border Keep. Would be simpler if you could release to any stone with a command followed by a name. For example /release Swanton Keep or /release Caer Ulfwych.

To make it even more stupid theres not even a horse route at swanton keep, so you have to release to swanton, then run south to get a horse back north if you havent got speed.

Port from housing, with piper (or minstrel) speed, I get to HW in about 4 minutes. Not really that slow - just inconvienient if you're bound at CS. Quicker to return to after a death than Emain most of the time, and don't have RS either.

i agree, shows how fucked up the games balancing issue are these days, not only did mid take the relic and drop ON OUR PAD i heard they killed everything inside atk at that time, including all those uber wizards, was like a buffbot graveyard, mids reasoning being hibs with 20% spell bonus are hideously overpowered and would rather actually give the relic to another realm due to that realm being gimped, then theres the hibs going to get the relic without being seen, altho maybe not everyones heart was in the defence since it was a dubious relic, I wasent online at all sunday but wouldve fought to the death from inside muuuuuuuurrrrrrrrr keep, couldent care less how we got the relic, i wouldve had a better time nuking ppl with the 10%+ and thats what interests me
