Looks awesome although console games go down in price so fast I don't think I want to pay £40.

They usually go down to £25 a month after release.

Agreed, but I have a tenner worth of Game reward vouchers (I have no idea how I accumulated that as I never shop there unless there is a stupidly awesome deal) so I'll probably buy it on release.

Don't blame ya looks like a brilliant game, hell if I even catch a glimpse of it in a shop I may cave in :D

Anyone had experience with downloading from the PSN on release day? I've pre-ordered from Amazon but I'm expecting a no show on delivery. My backup plan is to download from PSN.

Downloading anything on the PS3 is excruciatingly slow even on fast internet. You might be better to order it. I am not sure you can even pre-download on the PS3.

I am going to leave it a few weeks, going to be busy the next few weekends anyway so may as well avoid the rush...and might save a few bob waiting.

3rd console purchase is 5 years!

Go with shopto, they will get the game to you on Thursday/Friday, going with simplygames.com myself as they are getting a reputation for getting games to you even earlier.

For example they have Animal Crossing already in stock for the 3DS and shipping today, people will have it tomorrow.

This comes out the day after I go to Greece for 2 weeks, guess I'll have something to look forward to upon returning.

Meh - 60 quid though!

I thought about it but went for the standard edition from Shopto.net ... also ordered from Amazon, just in case. They are great for returns so I'm not worried if I have 2 copies.
