That is pretty much what he said though.
If some fucking maniac is coming at you with a golf club or trying to strangle you to death, there is all kinds of changes going on their body. Adrenaline for one thing that means they can handle a shit of load of pain. The only way to defend your self is to deliver enough pain to make them stop.

I suggested a broken arm, leg or to poke an eye out, all of which is completley fixable at hospital. Laddey stated that all of these are too much. That is in otherwords saying dont defend your self isnt it? how else will you stop a nutter trying to kill you without giving them something serious to think about? You cant just punch them in the stomach can you, that wouldnt even stop your average bloke who isnt hell bent on killing someone.
