laptops - £500 budget

hi there, my girlfriend asked me to find her a good value laptop for around the £500 mark (no more than 500).

best one i seem to be able to find is this:
Acer Aspire 5735 Laptop - Laptops at Ebuyer

but given my lack of experience i am loathe to simply say "go get it", so i thought i'd ask if any of you have any better recommendations?

she basically uses her laptop for watching movies, chatting on msn, browsing the net, uni work (essays) and the odd bit of casual gaming (popcap games, zoo tycoon and that kind of stuff).
