Most aren't, but there are certain ones that can. My Aspire 5920G for example has an MXM-II standard nvidia 8600M GT. It is possible to replace it because mine fried itself and I got a replacement for £55.

Most aren't, but there are certain ones that can. My Aspire 5920G for example has an MXM-II standard nvidia 8600M GT. It is possible to replace it because mine fried itself and I got a replacement for £55.

You are unable to change the graphic card on ANY HP Pavillion laptop. Sorry.
