lag with a new computer

just bought a new machine 2600+XP chip and a 256meg FX5200 gfx card, getting really bad lag on mobs (cant hit them when standing next to them but can when they are far off, drivers that came with card didnt work so got the latest (ver 51.something) from nvidia but no good. tried drivers from old machine which apparently dont support winxp (even tho the other machine is also xp HELP!

FX 5200 Probably the worst video card I _EVER_ encountered. 1 out of 6 has issues, and I should know, I went back to the service with 2 so far. Either downgrade to Geforce 4 MX 440, or go for FX 5600.

You can get GeForce 4TIs nice and cheap these days as they are line ends. Will run camelot beautifully - even the low end ti4200 is a much better card than a fx5200.

Yes folks thanks but my previous machine is also using an FX5200
card but with 128meg memory and its worked fine for ages so i dont think its the card.

even the fastest G2 card is better than a GF4 MX...
