the problem yesterday was caused by a power failure in one of the routers right next to our server platform. This happened around 22:00 and everything was fixed by 22:30.

It had absolutely NOTHNIG to do with 1.70/ToA Lag/OT/Space Aliens or Witches.

The same info will be published in today's Friday News but I thought you might like to get a heads up before then.

funny u should say that..i had pling plotter running last night and it seemed that the high pings where coming from london OT...the french side was ok.

btw any one know if its normal that from my IP to the excal servers IP there were 18 other IPs? any way i can reduce that?

That's why the lag is always so bad - we have to patch all the way through to Area 51 where the DAOC servers really are! And they can't test the lag because then they'd have to admit Area 51 existed. Why didn't I see it before? It all makes sense now.
