Anybody having lag issues? Logged in, LD three times in 10 minutes.Now I cannot even log in. Update server haven't been available for over 15 minutes now.

We had reports of big spikes and LDs across all of our severs so we ran a system wide diagnostic and there are no problems at all from our end. Some players on the German servers have reported sudden problems with a router in London which went wobbly for a period. If you get problems like this then pingplot it so that we can see where the cause lies. Otherwise, if our systems are clear, we can do literally nothing at all.

I blame the mid zerg tbh. Everytime they arrive im crashing to desktop every 5mins. (Not lding).

nice patch tbh, since the update we had multiple crashes to desktop. Care to investigate what the problem is.

I was having the middle square, yellow all the evening. like 1 sec lag. it can be my internet provider, but more people from other countries in camlann has it also.

It looks like 1sec or so server lag. not that many but well... all the time

yesterday, when i entered nf zones, a critical error occured with camelot.exe. this happened again when i logged in. after that, i crashed straight to the desktop right away as i logged in. this happened everytime i tried to log in at frontier zones within 2 hours or so. there was no problem on normal zones though. but i wasn't in the mood for pve so i just called it a day.

Same thing here a couple of times, the day before yesterday actually (didn't rvr as much yesterday). The problems seems to happens mostly outside crau. Worst thing is when it happens after I use phoebus so in relog I have to wait 15 minutes for the bloody harp

yes multiple crashes to desk top all different zones sort it out. i cant even log in , it goes to char selection screen then crashes when i select a char gr8

I am sorry Requiel but forget the lag issues and take onboard this desk top crash people are having as that has to be (no arguements) at your end.

Is there a common link for ppl suffering this, liek certain Nvidia cards, ATI cards, 2 baked bean tines and wet string for a connection?

Might be wise for a thread on the tech forums where people give their system details so a little more info can be fed back.

System specs : P 3.2G, 1G, 300G HD s-ata, GF6600 running XP sp2 on a LAN

The only problem i got atm is crashes to desktop in Daoc. And yes it happens around Crauchon bridge (Crim-side). The field there is bugged like hell.

i have athlon xp 1900+, 1,5 gb ddr, gefore 4400 ti with win xp.

i crash at crau aswell. haven't happened ever before until yesterday.

I have athlon 64 3000, 1 gb ddr, xfx 6600gt and xp sp1. ( drivers updates )

I ld in teleports of new frontiers or when i release and appear in svasud :/

Well I used to have these troubles back in times before anti-radar protection. Since my internet connection from Uni was very restricted, I was sockscapturing UDP ports and sent them over SSH tunnel out as translated TCPs. Thing is when target computer or my computer was very stressed and I crossed over regions, when there is need to switch between physical servers I guess DAoC system was switching to another UDP port (which time by time routing software did not handle fast enough).
Your situation might be a bit similar - your ISP's or some of EU backbone components might be weak or damaged and may very easily cause this.
Also, cheapo HW firewall/routers can do same nice 'GONNA KILL YOU U STUPID PC' effect.

Just a guess. Don't think though this would be client PC hardware or software problem. I'd personally bet on EU backbone though.

As for GFX card possible problem - could seem there could be some crap in Detonators (ForceWare, whatever): got nVidia (FX 5950) with new ForceWare drivers and game doesn't ld no matter what I do (wasn't online since Saturday though, thanks to inability to play from Uni GRR).

way too many peoples have this issue and only in NF (mainly in Emain around Crau) to be client side related.

I blame it on GOA

PS. 7 out of 8 peeps in my group crashed in less than 30 secs after porting to crau. yesterday i got about 30-45 mins of logging my char in crau then crash to desktop then rinse and repeat. (posted on main General Section as well)

PS2. it really need a FIX

Crashing here... and ive Been getting yellow middle box perf past 2 days too.
