2) send said recordings to GoA, your isp and finally the responsable people Opentransit.
3) when enough people do this you may get some action. not likely but it all you can do.

well it aint there job to make sure it aint any other node out there that is the problem. when ppl have sent in from all over europe and the problem lays in the same place (ie OT) then they can make something about it. hard for them to do a tracert from where u live.

That said people however have done the opposite to you and actually done something about getting pingPlotters sent in. This done opentransit have told goa to stop sending in the evidence of the problems, they will try fix it. GoA employee however has stated that they will email OpenTransit daily to keep prodding them to get it fixed. THe problem is not to do with GoA yet they are doing their best to help out. If everyone took your attitude then nothing would ever get fixed.

the thing is tho Corran, i feel they've been fucking us over for too long for me to care whatever problems they may have. i pay them, ergo i get to whine when i dont get my moneys worth. i have a full time job, i dont ask strange people with whom i have no connection to help me solve whatever problem i might have associated with that job. i get off my rather comfy rear and solve the problem. i might call in support from and external company, but i sure as hell dont ring up my customers and ask if they can run this and that test for me, cuz some how i just cant figure it out myself.

If you think that badly about them then just quit your subscriptions now to be honest. You want top rate service yet not willing to do something that takes no time at all. Run a program in the background then just send an email.

They can not recreate this issue to personally get logs. Also they need logs from MANY sources before OpenTransit would even consider action. The only way that they can get said logs is go to the gamers and ask them to help. If they didnt do this then they would have to personally travel to other countries, get the logs and then move on to else where. They would require in the region of 50+ logs no doubt as well.

Therefore. If we do it your way

1) The time to gain the evidence would be significantly increased. Say many months as opposed to hours or days.

2) They may not have any problems with it when test due to the fact it can come and go. I had no problem for hours, then i had issues every 30seconds. If they get it at a good time then they cant support the claims.

Both points lead to a much extended delay in getting the issues fixed. You may not like the company, but sometimes you have to do or help things you dont like to achieve the goals you want. In this case you want smooth play time, therefore if you took a moment to help a company you dont like you would be achiving your goal in a much quicker time then if you told them to fuck off.

Maybe im just being to logical about it. GoA are not perfect. At times they have been a long way from perfect. But since they had some wholesale changes within the organisation they are TRYING to improve and the best thing anyone can do is help them to do so. If we do so then in the future we will have a much smoother ride.

Oh, and yes i am trying to defend them at this junction because they are trying. When you see them online just stop a moment and have a chat with them. From time to time I do this, from all my different characters so they rarely know it the same person even if by some freak chance they remember me. And what i find is that they are more then willing to discuss anything with you and provide as much information as possible. Try it and you may find out that the people that are involved actually do care, and as such they want to help get past obsticles there are.

These people are called our GamesMasters and are easy to find /who 100 and they will show up. They are both players of the game as well as employees of GoA which is why they support the community to a high degree.
