Thankyou to all who turned up and helped kill the Kraken once again, as you know it failed to drop any loot or award mlxp so I have submitted an appeal to rightnow. Here is a copy of the message I sent, I have not attched the screenies as you were all there. I will post a response as soon as I receive one.
Hi there
Today (Sunday 18 Sept) I ran a Kraken raid which consisted of 2fg and 16 people in all. After a hour spent trying to gather people (those who posted on fh didnt all turn out) we tried three times to kill the kraken. On the third time we were able to kill it but upon its death no loot was dropped which I understand must be a bug. I have done the same raid for the past two weeks where we have killed the kraken on the third try both times previously and each time it has dropped three items as I believe it is programmed to do.
The groups consisted of entirely tanks and seers and no pets were used (nor were any casters being used save for a dark rm for dam add), I understand these can prevent a drop so to stop ml9 pet farming of these epic mobs.
I have attached several screen shots largely of the bg messages as I was zephyred out of death message shots, I also attach one screen shot from a warrior on the raid who was in range which shows the Kraken death message with no loot (or mlxp).
I hope you will be able to restore three items from the kraken to us so that I am able to hold a lotto with those attending for these and to avoid disappointment of the 16 people at the total of 32 hours we spent on this.

As promoised here is my reply from GOA, usual thanks for the message but we wont be doing anything as far as restoring items is concerned.

We've had a few reports like this, we are testing it to discover the cause. As you are aware there are game conditions that can cause these things and we are trying to track them, failing that we are going to need to turn it over to Mythic to research.
In line with our policy concerning replacing high end drop items, we can not provide you with those items.

I hope this was a rare bug on Kraken though and we do not experience it again. I have sent further information of our experience to GOA to help them resolve this bug.
