just discovered this hardware selling site, but i ain't ever heard of them before and their prices seem incredibly cheap.

They sell a Powercolor 9800 Pro for £221 + 8 quid delivery where as overclockers.co.uk sell it for £261 + 9 quid delivery.

Seems incredibly cheap? I'm a bit suspicious.

Any thoughts?

They sell all over Europe and I have seen their adds in many a PC mag over the last few months. They can't be that big a company and have problems that haven't been widely aired already.

Google them and see what comes up.

Komplett are fine, then again I've always found OcUK fine too.

Used Komplett once wouldnt use them again. Service levels are dire and their customer help line is absolutely pathetic.

Me too, ocuk have always given me a superb service for years. However, my mate had a spot of bother with a mobo (see the A7N8X thread over in the hardware forum) and the "super service" appears to fizzel into atrocious service when you have to return something you suspect is wonky.

www.microdirect.co.uk are the best for customer service in my experience.

I've had to return a few things with them, and it's always been turned around on the same day.

Hmmm, i posted it in here as it wasn't a specific hardware question - it was more a "general" question on service/prices/experience/knowledge of the company, which happen to sell hardware

I've ordered £300 + worth of stuff from these people and they seem to be fine...

Things have broken over time and they have refunded me without any quips... so they get my thumbs up

They are very good if the items work, cheap prices and quick delivery. You won't get fucked over with the item. As with most online stores, customer service is rather shite; it took me a while to sort out a return (they were moving there cs dept at the time if I remember right).

I upgraded this machine using two suppliers

1] Komplett - Goods arrived promptly, not damaged and they did not debit my back account until I had signed for the goods. I have used this company more than once since and I will be using it again.

2]OCUK - Ordered the graphix card from here, they debited my account immediately and then failed to deliver the card (promised next day delivery) for 7 days and that was only after me ringing up and telling them to refund my pennies. I will never deal with this company again.
